Former Fairview City Manager Jerry Eubanks, appeared in Major County District Court July 21, for a preliminary hearing on two felony charges, as well as one misdemeanor charge dating back to June 2022.
Eubanks appeared Monday with his attorney Clint Claypole, and entered a plea of Not-Guilty to all charges. Eubanks’ charges consisted of: 1. FELONY – EMBEZZLEMENT 21 OS 1451(B)(4) 2. FELONY – EMBEZZLEMENT 21 OS 1451B3 3. MISD – VIOLATION OF OFFICIAL CONDUCT 21 OS 343.
Eubanks is scheduled to be back in Major County at 10 a.m. Oct. 27, for a status hearing.
On Dec. 6, Eubanks appeared in Kay County District Court, and gave a no-contest plea to three felony charges, this according to online court records. Eubanks pleaded no contest to embezzlement of property, obtaining property by trick or deception and conspiracy. Court documents show Eubanks received a five year suspended sentence on the condition he comply with two years of supervision by the District Attorney’s Office.
Eubanks must also pay more than $33,000 in restitution to the City of Blackwell.
